About The Hamptons
I've opened The Hamptons B&B and Bar as a hobby that allows me to welcome people from all over the world. Having travelled intensively myself in combination with my big interest in different cultures it is a great experience to be able to host our guest in such a way that you feel at home. The same feeling I've always appreciated when traveling around.
I've been privileged to meet so many wonderful people through this endeavor and am continuously encouraged by the cultural differences and openness of our guests. I love what I do and hope you love it here too.
Cocktail Bar
The Hamptons Bar is always open for our B&B customers, based on the Honesty Bar principle. We serve the finest drinks in a sophisticated and chic, yet quite cozy, setting. Our wine, beer and cocktail list have been selected to delight your taste buds, while seasonal and specialty cocktails are often offered.
B&B Rooms
The Hamptons Boutique B&B has five luxurious bedrooms, equipped with pristine bathrooms and luxurious amenities. Our rooms have king-sized beds with plush high-thread-count linens, cotton bathrobes and personal care products.
Each room is equipped with a stocked mini-bar, a Nespresso coffee machine, a hair dryer, a security safe, a flat-screen TV with digital cable and of course, gratis high-speed WIFI.
Breakfast
Mornings are a treat at The Hamptons B&B, whether you choose to dine in our breakfast room, or privately in your guest room. We offer a stylized continental breakfast with fresh orange juice, home-made jams, eggs as you like them, fine cheeses, fresh bread and more.
During the week, our breakfast is served between the hours of 7:30am - 9:30am and during week-ends from 8.30 am to 10am.
Check in & out
Check-in is available between the hours of 15:00pm to 22:00pm. We kindly request that you check-out by 11:00am on day of departure. Secure short-term luggage storage is available upon request, should your wish to depart from Gent itself later in the day.
Upon booking, please notify us of your arrival time.
Location
The Hamptons B&B and Cocktail Bar is located at: Kortrijksesteenweg 172, 9000 Ghent.
The train station is a 7 minute walk from our location, and a convenient tram stop just outside our front door. Public street parking is available at the city rates, payable by meter.We also offer 2 parking spots (closed) next to the B&B.
Ghent is conveniently located, should you wish to take a day trip to visit other interesting locations in Belgium by train or car. Brussels is 40 minutes away, Bruges is 30 minutes away, Antwerp about 45 minutes, and the Belgian coast is easily reachable within 45 minutes.
When attending conferences at ICC, you couldn't find a better place to stay as the conference place is less than a 5 min. walk through the beautiful Citadel park.
About Ghent
Whether you are visiting Ghent for business or pleasure, it's a beautifully historic city with easy access via pedestrian walkways and bike lanes.
Ghent is well known for its medieval architecture, such as 12th-century well-preserved Gravensteen Castle, and the Graseli - a row of guildhalls adorning the sides of the Lede River. The Grand Market, Sint Bavo's Cathedral, the Museum of Fine Arts, the STAM and the SMAK Museums are also worth a visit.
